Welcome to my new blog. It's taken me a long time to overcome inertia and start writing. I'd like to write on:

• (and more topics as I go along)

I'll try and devote an hour each day to writing, and target 50 posts in 2015.

PS. A big shoutout to jakevdp whose Pelican blog template I've taken wholesale as the starting point for my own blog. Take a look at his post on migrating to Pelican. My reasons for choosing Pelican are pretty much the same - I'm learning Python and don't care so much for Ruby. The Octopress theme looks awesome, and I'd like to embed IPython notebooks in posts as I learn to use IPython.
